We are absolutely thrilled with the response and completely exhausted from trying to keep up with the orders. Most of the first run is sold out, but don't worry we're printing more in early February. | SOAW Vigil |

 For the past 5 years, every November, we've packed a few boxes of shirts and headed to Ft. Benning in Columbus, GA for the annual www.soaw.org vigil/protest. This movement started as a small group in 1990 and has grown to more than 20,000. Each year we have been able to donate more and more money to this important cause. This year we were able to donate $1,400. We printed a shirt that was designed by Haik Hoisington (www.blackmustache.com), sold almost all of them and donated 100% of the profits to SOAW. There are only a few left which can be purchased here. |

| A lot of shirts were "sold out", so I spent most of last weekend printing to replenish my stockroom. As requested by some ladies out there, I added a few new styles to the girl's category. Lastly, "Book Power" is now available on a new color which I'm real excited about. I hope you are too. |

| I'm finally at a point where I'd like to expand Fat American beyond the internet so I spent the past week contacting stores around the country that would like to carry some shirts. The thing is, is that it's hard to find the best stores online, and so that's where you come in. If you have a favorite store where you'd like to see Fat American, please email me the shop name, address, city, and phone number. You can use the wholesale button on the left to submit the information. Mention in the comment box that you are suggesting a store and don't forget to include your email address. I will send you a free shirt of your choice for every store that ends up carrying Fat American apparel. This offer is only good for the first person to suggest the store. I will let you know if you are the first, second, third....etc. I'm going to put a limit of 5 submissions per person in order to keep things fair, beside who really knows more than 5 great stores. Remember, no chain stores Fat American doesn't like Urban Outfitters and prefers to support independent businesses. Thanks for your help. |

 There are very few people alive in the world today that I would call "Heroes" and Dr. Kevorkian happens to be one of them. Due to conditions set by the parole board Jack can not advise or assist terminally ill patients on how to die. He might however go on a lecture tour so if you are a professor or student, petition your school to bring him to your campus this fall. |

| Homeless Super Models |

 It may be an unorthodox way of flaunting our t-shirts, but we feel it is appropriate when we consider our feelings about the failure of the United States social system. Throughout the photo shoot we didn't meet a single person whom the US government hadn't failed. Of the 11 homeless men and women we photographed 5 are mentally ill, two are Vietnam war veterans, two are physically disabled, one is down on his luck(unemployed), and one has aids, he apologized for the spots and sores he displayed while putting on the shirt we gave him. The only system caring for this group of people is the prison system. Our small crew consisted of photographer/friend Wheat Wurtzburger (click to see more of his work) and two savvy assistants/friends Rachel Harris and Jen Whalen. |

| When a company says "Free Shipping" what they really mean is "shipping costs are included." And that's just what we are doing from now on; including shipping cost in our shirt prices. So instead of paying $17 for a shirt plus $3 S&H we will now be charging a flat $20. This applies to all orders shipped to the USA or Canada. International orders still require a shipping surcharge to be manually applied to the order. The button for this surcharge can be found under the shopping cart on any product page. |

 On average we put out three new designs a year, so releasing three in one month could be seen as a major achievement. Really though, only one is new, the "Satan Bush" and the "Einstein" shirts are new versions of past designs. |
